I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who has a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling. I’m passionate about providing professional Christian counseling services to courageous individuals who are experiencing hurt, pain, and/or challenges that negatively impact their lives and overall functioning. My view of clients taking the courageous step to show up to the “couch” by allowing me to partner with them to address their various issues are paramount.

Jennifer has over 30+ years of experience counseling individuals, families, couples, groups, and vets/military personnel and their families. She traveled to Alaska after the Exxon Valdez Oil spill where she provided counseling to individuals in that community for several months following this crisis. Jennifer has an extensive work history with adolescents, teenagers, adults, and senior citizens, who have experienced a range of issues inclusive of trauma, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, physical abuse, domestic violence, bipolar disorders, etc., while also incorporating cultural sensitivity to clients from diverse backgrounds.

My specialty is in working with adolescent and adult trauma victims. I’m trained in both 12STR trauma model and Etiotropic trauma models where I give credence to addressing the root of the problem and not just the symptoms. I also utilize CBT, Existential, and Solution focused approaches, but individually evaluates what works best for each client. I’m a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and hold memberships in the Licensed Professional Counselor’s Association of Ga., and American Association of Christian Counselors.
